Jerome "Jerry" Warke

Jerome "Jerry" (Weasel) Warke, 63, of Nanticoke passed away Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at home after a brief illness.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late James Warke and Marie Warke-Katchik. He was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School and was employed by Luzerne Products, Plains Township.

Jerry was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing and motorcycle riding. He had a unique and contagious sense of humor and will be missed by all who knew him, especially his favorite girl, his dog, Megan.

Surviving are his wife of 18 years, Cynthia Applebey-Warke; son, Jeffrey; daughter, Tracey; sister, Patricia; and brother, James (Butch) and family.

Funeral arrangements were private by Kearney Funeral Home Inc., 173 E. Green St., Nanticoke.
