Josephine "Jennie" Kanjorski, 91, of Shickshinny, passed away Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017, at her home.
She was the daughter of the late John and Rosalie DeNaple DeMuro and attended Kingston schools.
She also was a member of St. Faustina Parish Church, Nanticoke.
Josephine was employed by Consolidated Cigar Co. prior to operating a vegetable stand with her late husband, Albert "Strawberry Al" Kanjorski, in Nanticoke.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents and husband, Al, by several siblings.
Presently surviving are her sisters, Mary Mathers, Dallas; and Dolores Gugluemo, California; cousin, Lloyde Briggs, Nanticoke; several nieces and nephews; and very good neighbors who was a great help to her.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial service that will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Grontkowski Funeral Home P.C., 51 W. Green St., Nanticoke, conducted by the Rev. James Nash.
Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Nanticoke.
There will be calling hours from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday.
