Jule Seligo, a resident at Little Flower Manor, Wilkes-Barre, passed away Monday, Jan. 27, 2014.
Born Dec. 13, 1927, in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anelia Szeliga.
Jule was a 1945 graduate of GAR High School, Wilkes-Barre, and was employed in the area garment industry. She was a member of the International Ladies' Garment Workers Union and Our Lady of Hope Parish, Wilkes-Barre.
Jule loved gardening and was an avid NASCAR fan. In keeping with her Polish heritage, she also enjoyed listening to polka music.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph Seligo, Bernard Seligo and his wife, Irene, William Seligo and his wife, Bertha, Theodore Seligo and John Seligo, and sisters, Josephine Zampetti and her husband, Dominik, and Mary Radulski and her husband, Henry Sr.
Surviving are her nieces, Jean Zampetti, Joan Rollman and her husband, George, and Mary Jean Petrovich and her husband, Robert; nephews, Henry Radulski Jr. and his wife, Debbie, and Robert Zampetti; sister-in-law, Rose Seligo, Ashley; great-nieces and great-nephews, Christopher Rollman, Brian Rollman, Robbie Petrovich, Dana Daugherty, Scott Radulski and Ashlie Radulski.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday from Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 N. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Hope Parish, Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre. The Rev. John S. Terry, pastor, will be the celebrant.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Maternity Cemetery, West Wyoming.
