Kenneth Stanley Miller Sr.

Kenneth Stanley Miller Sr., 59, of Monroe Township passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Mr. Miller was born in Wilkes-Barre on March 29, 1953, and was the son of the late Robert and Alice Lozier Miller.

Kenneth graduated from Dallas High School in 1970. He was employed as a truck driver by Hadsall Excavating, Linde Enterprising, and Pikes Creek Sand and Gravel.

He was a member of the Harveys Lake Rod and Gun Club, and enjoyed hunting with his son, Kenny Jr., car racing and football.

Mr. Miller attended Emmanuel Assembly of God Church, Harveys Lake.

Mr. Miller was preceded in death by a son, Dory Zacharias; and a sister, Connie Miller.

He is survived by his wife, the former Doris Siglin; sons, Robert Zacharias, Harveys Lake; Randy Zacharias, Harveys Lake; Richard Zacharias, Noxen; and Kenneth S. Miller Jr., Beaumont; daughters, Johnette Meader, Harveys Lake; Crystal Zacharias, Beaumont; and Traci Zacharias, Beaumont; brothers, Robert Miller, Dallas; Dean Miller, Plymouth; and Jerry Miller, Plymouth; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday from Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home Inc., Routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with the Rev. L.D. Reed of Emmanuel Assembly of God Church, Harveys Lake, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas.
