Lorraine A. Kemrite

Lorraine A. Kemrite, 69, of Oliver Street, Swoyersville, died Thursday evening, Nov. 8, 2012, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital.

She was born in Kingston, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Melrose Van Dyke Luzetski, and graduated from Swoyersville High School in 1961.

Mrs. Kemrite was a member of Bennett Street Presbyterian Church, Luzerne.

Prior to her retirement, she had been employed by the William Perry Insurance Agency of Luzerne for 50 years.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, John; daughters, Keri Daubert and her husband, Mark, Mountain Top; and Jill Burgess and her husband, Tim, Hop Bottom; granddaughters, Alyssa Daubert, Sarah and Lindsey Burgess; sisters, Carol Wozniak, Swoyersville; and Joan Pocono, Luzerne; and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at William A. Reese Funeral Chapel, rear 56 Gaylord Ave., Plymouth, with the Rev. James Quinn officiating. Friends may call from 6 p.m. until the time of service Monday.
