Margaret A. Miller Nocito of West Pittston died Friday, March 1, 2013, at the Wesley Village nursing home in Pittston at the age of 80, surrounded by her family.
Born in West Pittston on Sept. 3, 1932, she was the daughter of the late William and Ethel Davis Miller. She graduated from West Pittston High School in 1950 and from the Wyoming Seminary School of Business in 1952.
She married James A. Nocito in 1956 and the couple lived in West Pittston, where they raised five children.
Prior to her marriage, she worked at the Bureau of Employment Security in Pittston; she was later employed by Diversified Records Services in West Pittston.
Mrs. Nocito was a longtime parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church in West Pittston.
She was fortunate in her friendships and her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family.
In addition to her loving husband of 56 years, she is survived by her brother, attorney William D. Miller; son, attorney Frank and wife, Lori; daughter, Peggy Balberchak, husband, Michael, and their three daughters, Michelle, Jamie and Jillian; son, James; son, attorney Joseph, wife, Kristine, and their four sons, Sam, Nick, Jude and Joe; son, attorney John, wife, attorney Jennifer, and their two sons, Will and Luke; and her many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, Luzerne Avenue, West Pittston, at 10 a.m. Monday. Friends and relatives may call at the church from 8:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Private interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Pittston.

The family would like to thank the nurses and nurses' aides of Wesley Village for their kindness and compassion over the past four years, as well as Monsignor John Sempa for the comfort he provided to the family.
