Marguerite Jakubowski

Marguerite Jakubowski, 77, of Plymouth died Tuesday morning, Jan. 1, 2013, at home.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Catherine Randall Ayers and went to GAR High School.

Marguerite was employed as a caregiver, most recently by Comfort Keepers, and was a member of the Kingston Seventh-Day Adventist Church and Slocum Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Marguerite was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, Robert K. Jakubowski; and brothers, George, Allen, Joseph, Chester and Henry Ayers.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl Show and her husband, Brian, Beltsville, Md.; Jean Jakubowski, Wilkes-Barre; Robert and his wife, Tina, Wilkes-Barre; and John and his wife, Kim, California; 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; sister, Karen Spielman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Lehman Family Funeral Service, 689 Hazle Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with the Rev. Robert D. Fisher, pastor, officiating. Private interment will be held in Alberts Cemetery, Mountain Top. Friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
