Mary Ann Kelly, 61, of Plains Township died Monday evening, March 4, 2013, at her home.
Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Moncavage and Frances Dougherty Moncavage-Gilroy. Mary Ann attended Plains Memorial High School, was mostly a homemaker and was employed as a seamstress by Leslie Fay of Plains Township.
Mary Ann was very talented and creative and loved to make crafts and homemade items for family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Kelly, on Nov. 1, 2008; sister, Margaret Murphy, on Feb. 25, 2013; brothers, Tony and John Moncavage.
Surviving are her son, Michael Kelly, Kentucky; daughter, Kathy Kelly, Plains Township; grandchildren, Robert, Samantha and Heather Troy; sisters, Patricia Stavinski, Lansdale; Frances Lewis and her husband, Stephen, Upper Darby; and Rose Dreabit and her husband, Robert, Plains Township; nephews and nieces.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday in Ss. Peter and Paul Church, Plains Township. Friends and family are asked to go directly to the church. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Corcoran Funeral Home Inc., 20 S. Main St., Plains Township.
