Mary Christine Mackin Hill, 46, of Exeter passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Mary was raised in Forty Fort and graduated from Wyoming Valley West High School. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Mackin of Forty Fort.
Surviving are her children, Tiffany, Jessica and Nichole, Exeter. She is also survived by 10 siblings, Daniel, West Wyoming; Jerome, Moon Township; Cathy Mackin, Exeter; Susan Walters, Ann Arbor, Mich.; Cynthia Miller, Flagstaff, Ariz.; David, Avoca; Maureen Spaid, Beaufort, N.C.; Stephen, Minneapolis, Minn.; Teresa Rushton, Glen Lyon; and Patricia Flannery, Laflin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Alan Hill, and her sister, Christine Mackin Marshall.
The greatest joy in her life were her three beautiful daughters, Tiffany, Jessica and Nichole. She was quick to show you photos of her daughters and to brag about them, not caring if you wanted to hear what she had to say or not, you were still going to hear about them. She said on Thanksgiving Day that she was proud of how her daughters were raised and how they have become proud young ladies. Mary's close friends were also important to her, she needed their friendship and they needed hers as well. She was very creative with her stained glass pieces and also floral arranging.
A Blessing service will be held at noon Saturday in Metcalfe-Shaver-Kopcza Funeral Home Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday.
The family requests that flowers be omitted.
