Myrtle Lee Raggi, 73, of the Parsons section of Wilkes-Barre, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, Feb. 3, 2013, in her home with her family and friends beside her.
Born in Augusta, Ga., she was the daughter of the late William and Addie Lee Fletcher Harpley.
She was a graduate of Richmond Academy, Augusta, Ga., and was a homemaker and mother all of her life.
Myrtle Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Serafino John Raggi, on Oct. 5, 1989; and her brother, Verdy Delano Blackwell.
Surviving are her daughters, Grace Starrie and her husband, Bill, Hunlock Creek; and Denise Bernatovich and her husband, Bob, Shickshinny; sons, John Raggi and his wife, Dawn, Bear Creek; and Serafino Raggi and his wife, Virginia, Plymouth Township; grandchildren, Laura Lynn Colleran and her husband, Jay, Ian Richard Starrie, Jennifer Lee Lewis and her husband, Rich, John Raggi Jr., Montana Marie Raggi, Serafino Raggi Jr., and Willow Raggi; great-grandchildren, Hailey Marie Colleran, Jay Jay Colleran and Madison Elizabeth Lewis; brother, William Fredrick Harpley Jr., Augusta, Ga.; and sisters, Clara Harpley Hill and Daisy Jean Abbott, both of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
In accordance with Myrtle Lee's wishes, her funeral services will be private and reserved for her family. The Rev. James Quinn, pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church, Edwardsville, will officiate. Her interment will be held in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas.
Arrangements are by Corcoran Funeral Home Inc., 20 S. Main St., Plains Township.
