Norma M. Lini

Norma M. Carnevali Lini, 82, of the Hilldale section of Plains Township, died Monday afternoon, Feb. 3, 2014, at her home.

Born in Hilldale, she was the daughter of the late Sebastian and Viola Panateri Carnevali.

Norma was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School, was owner of Bon-Nan Boutique of Plains Township and was a seamstress for the area dress factories for many years.

She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston.

Norma and her husband, Joseph, celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on April 24, 2013.

Norma was preceded in death by two infant children and her brother, Elmer Carnevali.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, Joseph, are her daughter, Bonnie Markowski and husband, Albert, Plains Township; grandchildren, Dylan and Emily Markowski; sister, Thelma Andreoni, West Pittston; nephews and nieces.

The funeral will be held at 8:45 a.m. Saturday from Corcoran Funeral Home Inc., 20 S. Main St., Plains Township, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston, with Monsignor John Bendik, pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in the Italian Independent Cemetery, West Wyoming.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
