Paul E. Kelly Sr.

Paul E. Kelly Sr., 83, of Falls, and formerly of Pittston, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at Golden Living Center-Summit, Wilkes-Barre.

He was born in Pittston, a son of the late Michael and Mary Lynch Kelly. He attended Pittston High School.

Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War.

He worked as a truck driver for Branch Express. He was affiliated with various American Legions and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Kelly, and a sister, Dolores Bach.

He is survived by his children, Patricia Huey, Shavertown; Christine Edmark, Olympia, Wash.; Paul E. Kelly Jr., Fulton, Conn.; Cathy Allabaugh, Harveys Lake; Joseph Kelly, Lansford; and Paul E. Kelly II, Bloomsburg; 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter arriving in June; brother, Lawrence Kelly, Saylorsburg; and niece, Rita Kelly, Pittston.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday from Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home Inc., 140 N. Main St., Shavertown. The Rev. Mr. Thomas M. Cesarini will officiate.

Interment will be held in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
