Pauline P. Tobin

Pauline P. Tobin, 86, of Forty Fort died Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Commonwealth Hospice Inpatient Unit, St. Luke's Villa, Wilkes-Barre.

She was born in Nanticoke, daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Siscovic Paciga.

She was a graduate of Meyers High School, and in her early years worked at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. After she raised her family, Pauline reentered the workforce, working for Rea and Derrick and retiring from CVS after more than 20 years of service.

She was devoted to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and enjoyed cooking and baking for her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Tobin; daughters, Debbie Olive and Molly Dunn; grandsons, Reis Tobin and Kevin Dunn; brother, John Paciga; and sisters, Ann Hughes and Mary Smallcomb.

Pauline is survived by her six children, Maureen Pisaneschi and her husband, Raymond, Emmaus; Judy Tobin, Forty Fort; Thomas Tobin and his wife, Lynn, Dallas; Donna Crawley and her husband, Michael, Bear Creek; Jack Tobin, Forty Fort; and Kelly Tobin, Kingston; 13 grandchildren, Penny, Raymond, John, Brent, Michael, Shannon, Thomas, Tiffani, Jaime, Sean, Andi, Katy and Erik; and 13 great-grandchildren, Finn, Stella, Lilyana, Leah, Rayla, Willa, Gussie, Molly, Michaela, Chloe, Sergio, Jillian and Maura.

A Mass of Christian Burial and celebration of Pauline's life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Hughes Street, Swoyersville. There will be no calling hours.
