Pearl E. Novak

Pearl E. Novak, 80, of Bear Creek passed away Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.

Born Sept. 9, 1932 in Richmond, Va., she was the daughter of the late George and Susie Emerry Krumsky.

She was a member of Messiah Primitive Methodist Church in Bear Creek and was a graduate of Oliver School, Bear Creek.

Pearl was employed in the garment industry her whole life. She was a member of the International Ladies' Garment Workers Union for 40 years, a member of AIM and also a member of UNITE.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley; and an infant twin daughter, Pearl.

Survivng are her daughter, Patricia Clymo and her husband, Arthur, Bear Creek; and son, Bill Novak and his wife, Carol, Exeter; grandchildren, Kimberly Sparks, Bobby and Brian Clymo, Mark McCloskey and Heather Novak; great grandchildren, Tiara Novak, Ben McCloskey, Tyler Sparks and Aiden Novak.

Funeral services will be held at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bednarski Funeral Home, 168 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, with the Rev. Reginald Thomas of Messiah Primitive Methodist Church, officiating. Friends may call from 6 p.m. until the time of service.
