Ralph T. Henry

Ralph T. Henry, 79, of Hanover Township passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014, in Celtic Hospice in Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre.

He was born in Wilkes-Barre on Aug. 5, 1934, a son of the late Ralph and Loretta Garrity Henry. He attended St. Mary's High School and served in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Henry had been employed by Topps Chewing Gum Co. for many years and was a longtime member of St. Leo's-Holy Rosary Church, Ashley.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Mazeika Henry, in 1996.

Surviving are his sons, Mark T. Henry and his wife, Sue, Hanover Township; and Carl W. Henry and his wife, Carol, Kingston; three grandchildren; sister, June Walsh, Wilkes-Barre; nieces and nephews.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Leo's-Holy Rosary Church, 33 Manhattan St., Ashley. Those attending the Funeral Mass are asked to go directly to the church Monday.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.

Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in care of King's College to WRKC Radio, 133 N. River St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711.
