Raymond W. Yale

Raymond W. Yale, 56, a resident of Swoyersville, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, Nov. 6, 2012, in his residence.

Born Sept. 23, 1956, in Kingston, Raymond was the son of Jeannette Schultz Yale of Swoyersville.

A U.S. Army veteran, Raymond honorably served his country during peacetime.

Raymond was employed as a metal fabricator by Inter Metro Industries Corp., Wilkes-Barre.

He was a member of the American Legion, Andrew Lawrence Post 644, Swoyersville, where he actively volunteered at the legion's many functions.

Raymond had many enjoyments in life, especially carpentry and NASCAR. His greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his family.

In addition to his mother, Jeannette Yale, Raymond is survived by his children, Derek Robbins, Swoyersville; and Melanie Terraccino and her husband, Anthony, Drums; his grandchildren, Madelyn, Gabriela and Dominic; his sister, Diane Sabolchick, Swoyersville; and his nephews, Dylan Thomas and John Mahalek.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Blessing service, which will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Wroblewski Funeral Home Inc., 1442 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, with the Rev. Joseph J. Pisaneschi, pastor of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Swoyersville, officiating.

Interment will be privately held in St. Mary's Cemetery, Swoyersville.

Family and friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
