Regina T. Jankowski

Regina T. Jankowski, 74, a resident of Timber Ridge Health Care Center, Wilkes-Barre, and formerly of Ashley, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.

She was the daughter of the late Frank and Constance Shusta Kulbaski and a graduate of Ashley High School.

Regina enjoyed sewing, cooking and playing bingo. She also enjoyed watching the food and game show networks.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Leonard Jankowski Sr., and brothers, Dr. Frank Kulbaski and Henry Kulbaski.

Surviving are her son, Leonard Jankowski Jr. and his wife, Lindsay, Plains Township; and brother, Joseph Kulbaski and his wife, Sally, Manchester, Conn. Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Regina will be held at 9 a.m. Monday from George A. Strish Inc. Funeral Home, 105 N. Main St., Ashley, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Leo's/Holy Rosary Church, Manhattan Street, Ashley. Interment will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. until the time of service at 9 a.m. Monday.
