Robert Koslosky

Robert Koslosky, 75, of West Wyoming passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013, in Kindred Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in West Wyoming on April 21, 1938, he was the son of the late Stanley and Mary Poliwater Koslosky.

Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War, and attained the rank of sergeant before being honorably discharged on July 31, 1967. He also played baseball for the U.S. Army team and served proudly with the local Army reserves.

In earlier years, he was employed by EmKay Manufacturing in West Wyoming before retiring from the West Wyoming Borough maintenance department.

He was a graduate of West Wyoming High School and a member of St. Monica's Parish of West Wyoming.

Robert was a talented sportsman and avid hunter. He was a great athlete and superior baseball player. He enjoyed the outdoors and hunted in Bitterroot, Mont., and all over New York. He was also someone that could always be counted on to help anyone in need.

He was preceeded in death by his sister, Barbara Roman, and brother, Stanley Koslosky.

Surviving are his sister, Louise Hastings, Exeter; nephews, James Hastings, Exeter; and William Roman, Delaware; and great-nephew, James Hastings, Exeter.

A private funeral will be held at the convenience of the family.
