Rosemarie A. Roback, 88, of Wyoming passed away Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, at Wesley Village, Jenkins Township.
Born April 7, 1926, in Swoyersville, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Borzik Kuna. She was a graduate of Swoyersville High School, Class of 1944.
Rosemarie was a homemaker most of her life. In later years she worked at the Wyoming Area School District cafeteria. She also was a volunteer activities director for several years at the Wyoming Manor, formerly the Laurel Manor, in Wyoming.
Rosemarie was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Wyoming. Following the consolidation of her church, she became a member of St. Monica's Parish, West Wyoming.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Roback, who passed away Oct. 26, 1986.
Surviving are her son, Edward and his wife, Sandy, Ashley; daughter, Diane (Dee) Cordora and her husband, Joseph, Swoyersville; son, Joseph, Wilkes-Barre; daughter, Michele Orlandini and her husband, Robert, Exeter; grandchildren, Edward, Jeffrey, Jami, Michael, Joseph, Heather, Erica and Sarah; and great-grandchildren, Olivia, Isabella, Ryan, Abigail, Arin, Enzo and Colton.
The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday from Bednarski Funeral Home, 168 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Monica's Parish, 363 W. Eighth St., West Wyoming, with the Rev. Joseph Adonizio officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Wyoming.
