Stephanie Koytek of Duryea passed away Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, at her home.
Born in Dupont, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Satkowski Warunek. She attended Dupont schools.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the former Lady Carol, Duryea.
She was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea.
She was a kind and loving grandma, great-grandma, sister and aunt. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her many house plants. While her husband was alive, they enjoyed traveling together.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank W., on Sept. 1, 2009; son, Walter, who passed away Aug. 13, 2008; and sister, Frances Konicki.
Surviving are her grandson, John Koytek, Duryea; grandson, Adam Koytek, Old Forge; granddaughter, Lisa Koytek, Plymouth; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Hailee, Aidan, Jason and Miles; sister, Anna Sroka, Dupont; sister, Regina Zygmunt, Moosic; sister, Romaine Balent, Dupont; nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Monday from Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main St., Duryea, with the Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, Duryea, with the Rev. Andrew Sinnott officiating.
Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Duryea.
