Stephen S. Bolinski of Thorny Apple Road, Hunlock Creek, died unexpectedly.
Born Jan. 9, 1954 in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., he was the son of Catherine Maxwell Bolinski and the late Leonard Bolinski. He was formerly employed by Volunteers of America, Wilkes-Barre, and most recently by Veritas Medical Review Solutions, Wilkes-Barre. Steve was an intelligent and inquisitive man who enjoyed music, science fiction and computers. Although he left us much too soon, we will remember the many joys he brought into our lives. He is a member of St. Therese's Church, Shavertown. He and his wife, the former Kathy O'Malley, celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary Oct. 10, 2012.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother, David and his wife, Judy Bolinski, Harveys Lake; sister, Jeanine and her husband, Jim Pysniak, Hanover Township; brother-in-law, William and his wife, Jean O'Malley, Nanticoke; nephews, Kevin Pysniak, Billy O'Malley; and niece, Colleen O'Malley.
The funeral will be held from Mamary-Durkin Funeral Service, 59 Parrish St., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Therese's Church, Shavertown. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
