Teresa (Terry) Kraynak, 51, a resident of Harding, passed away Wednesday morning, June 18, 2014, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born Dec. 26, 1962, in Pittston, Teresa was the daughter of Thomas and Barbara Cobane Kraynak.
Teresa was a graduate of West Side Vo-Tech, Pringle, and worked for United Rehabilitation Services (URS), Wilkes-Barre, for more than 20 years. Recently, Teresa was a participant in the art program for people with special needs, Verve Vertu.
Teresa was a member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer, Harding.
Endeared by many, Terry touched everyone in the most special way.
In addition to her devoted parents and constant caregivers, Thomas and Barbara Kraynak, Teresa is survived by her sister, Colleen Kraynak-Poor and her husband, Ken, Dallas; her brother, Thomas Kraynak Jr., and his wife, Mary, West Wyoming; her niece, Caitlyn, West Wyoming; and her brother, Chris, Exeter.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Drs. Mario and Marie Adajar, as well as the doctors and staff of Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, for the special care and compassion they bestowed upon Teresa.
There will be no funeral services at this time. A memorial service celebrating Terry's life will be determined at a later date.
