Theodosia Hoschinski, 97, formerly of Nanticoke, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018, at Guardian Elder Care, Sheatown.
She was born in Nanticoke on May 6, 1921, and was the daughter of the late Michael and Caroline Sobilo. She attended Nanticoke schools to the ninth grade and was a faithful member of St. Faustina Parish Church (primary site). Theodosia was employed as a factory worker by Pyramid Moulding in Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John, of 45 year marriage, who passed in 1987; by her brothers, Edward and Frank Salek; and by her niece, Kathy Salek Vaughn.
Presently surviving are a brother, Andrew Salek, Nanticoke; and a niece, Andrea Salek, Orlando, Fla.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday from Grontkowski Funeral Home P.C., 51 W. Green St., Nanticoke, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Faustina Parish Church (secondary site) with the Rev. Alco officiating.
Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Calling hours are private.
