Vincent D. Casey

Vincent D. Casey, 70, of Dallas passed away Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

He was born in Wilkes-Barre on Nov. 30, 1943. He is the son of the late Vincent and Veronica Gabana Casey.

Vincent was a graduate of Coughlin High School, Class of 1962. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War.

He was employed by Brink's Inc. for 31 years. After retiring, he opened Mountaineer Motors in Dallas with his son, Kevin. He enjoyed car auctions and in his younger years enjoyed drag racing at Pocono Drag Lodge.

He is a life member of the Disabled American Veterans.

Vincent is survived by his loving wife, Drena Riehl Casey of 49 years in April. He is also survived by his sons, David and Kevin, both of Dallas; as well as several cousins.

The funeral will be at at 11 a.m. Tuesday from the Hugh B. Hughes & Son Inc., Funeral Home, 1044 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, with the service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Martin Everhart, of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, in Noxen, officiating.

Friends may call Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
