Walter L. Cusma, 89, of Dallas passed into eternal rest on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013.
Born Feb. 28, 1924, in Plymouth, he was the son of the late Stanley and Blanche Yokavonis Cusma.
Walter was a graduate of Plymouth High School, Class of 1942.
He was a U.S. Army
veteran, serving with the 159th Combat Engineers, during World War II
in France and Germany.
After discharge from the military, he worked for the Bethlehem Steel Corp. as an engineer on the Great Lakes.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Matilda Gardzalla; his second wife, Josephine Ronchetti; and third wife, Jane Harrison. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Alice Cusma Maziur; and infant sister, Dolores.
Surviving are his sons, Gregg Cusma and his wife, Maryellen, Dallas; and Dr. Lawrence Cusma and his wife, Mary Lou, New York; stepsons, Donald Ronchetti, Kingston; Leonard, Michael and Robert Harrison, Lansdale; grandchildren, Jill Morse, Elizabeth Dougherty, Jared, Sallyann, Aaron and Keith Cusma; Angelique Ronchetti, Brian, Jennifer, Jessica, Rebecca, Trey, Devin and Cole Harrison; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth.
Private interment will be in St. Casimir's Cemetery, Muhlenberg.
