William DeAlba

William DeAlba, 88, of Pittston, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014 at Wesley Village Nursing Home, Pittston.

He was born April 16, 1925 in Pittston and preceded in death by his mother, Rose (Garcia) DeAlba and father, Salvatore DeAlba.

William was a proud member of the St. Rocco's Fides Cubs for more than 50 years.

He is survived by his sons, William and wife, Patricia DeAlba, Plains Township; and Sam and wife, Mary Alice DeAlba, Duryea; grandchildren, Daniel, Christina and Sam DeAlba and sister, Christina Burgio, Easton. He was also preceded in death by sisters Fannie DeAlba and Patricia Leonardi.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William's name to Wesley Village Campus, 209 Roberts Road, Pittston, PA 18640.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Graziano Funeral Home Inc., Pittston Township. Viewing hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Joseph Marello Parish, William St. Pittston on Wednesday at 9:30am. Those who plan on attending should be at the funeral home no later than 8:30 a.m.

William will be laid to rest in St. John's The Evangelist Cemetery, Pittston.
