Zigmund S. Koshinski of Wilkes-Barre passed away Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at his home.
Born May 27, 1945, in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late Zigmund and Regina Tolarski Koshinski.
He was a 1963 graduate of GAR High School, Wilkes-Barre, and received a Bachelor Degree in business from Wilkes University in 1969. He was a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard from 1965-71.
Zigmund was employed at Consolidated Cigar, Kingston; RCA Electronics, Mountain Top; General Foam, Hazleton; the State Department of Public Welfare, Wilkes-Barre; and Jackson Hewitt Tax Services, Wilkes-Barre. He was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Church, Plains Township.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Riedlinger.
Surviving are his wife of 37 years, the former Claire Zius; nephews, Christopher and Greg Riedlinger; niece, Jean Riedlinger; and great-nieces, Kaitlyn and Arianna.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday from the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 N. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Ss. Peter and Paul Church, Hudson Street, Plains Township. The Rev. Joseph Gryskiewicz will be celebrant. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, Hanover Township. Family and friends may call Monday from 4 to 7 p.m.
