Josephine D. Williamson

Josephine D. Williamson of Little Flower Manor, Wilkes-Barre, died Tuesday in the Hospice Community Care Inpatient Unit, Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre.

Born on Jan. 16, 1923, in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Thaddeus and Margaret Kraynak Randon.

Josephine was a 1942 graduate of Elmer L. Meyers High School, Wilkes-Barre, and was employed for many years by the area garment industry as a seamstress.

She was a member of St. Mary's Church of the Maternity, Wilkes-Barre, and its Confraternity of Christian Mothers. She was also a volunteer with RSVP, Wilkes-Barre.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Josephine; sisters, Helen Randon Kowalski and Margaret Randon Sallitt; and brother, Lewis Randon.

Surviving are a daughter, Michelle and her husband, Dwane Kersteen, Forty Fort; grandchildren, Jillian, Dale and Randon Kersteen; and brother, Theodore Randon and his wife, Vivian, Ocala, Fla.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 N. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre, with Monsignor Alexander T. Kulik, pastor emeritus, St. Mary's Church of the Maternity, officiating.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, West Wyoming. Friends may call Friday, 4 to 8 p.m.
