Jacob Shedlock Obituary
Born in Kingston, Jacob was the son of Joseph and Kim Shedlock. He was a graduate of Coughlin High School and a freshman enrolled at East Stroudsburg University.
Jacob was a loving son and kind, big-hearted person who made everyone's day brighter. He was always there to listen, lend an ear and to help. Jacob was known for his sweet and gentle nature.
Jacob loved his parents, his grandparents, his sister and his girlfriend more than anything in the world. Although Jacob's life has been cut short, everyone who knew him has been changed by his brief time on this earth. He will be missed dearly.
Jacob was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph Shedlock II, and his uncle, Timothy Sisko.
Surviving are Jacob's parents, Joseph and Kim Sisko Shedlock III; sister, Willow; grandmother, Barbara Shedlock; grandparents, Edward and Patricia Sisko; girlfriend, Bailey Cunningham; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a large community of friends.
Jacob's family is grateful for the outpouring of love and support from the many people who loved him.
The family will hold a private memorial service. Arrangements are by Yeosock Funeral Home, Plains Twp.

Jacob's sudden and shocking death was announced at ESU, where my son also attends. While neither he nor I knew him, I am overcome with sympathy for your family's unimaginable pain, as well as sadness over the loss of one so young and with such a bright future ahead of him. I pray that you are able to find strength in the face of your profound grief, pride and comfort in your memories, and some peace during what will be a challenging holiday season for years to come.

I remember when we were big on shoes, joking in class, playing basketball, having deep conversations, and sharing some good laughs. Those are times I will never forget.
