Justin Lukaszewski Obituary

Justin C. Lukaszewski, 31, of Overlook Road, Newport Township passed away unexpectedly in Florida.

Born on January 8, 1986 in Kingston, he liked to brag that he shared his birthday with "The King", Elvis Presley. Justin graduated from Greater Nanticoke Area High School and obtained his CDL and welding certificates from Luzerne County Community College.

Justin was kind, personable and always willing to lend a helping hand and support. He had a great dry sense of humor and was always the practical joker. He loved talk radio and was always ready to engage in political debate. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, music and video games and watching Notre Dame and Philadelphia Eagles football. His favorite movies were Rudy and Les Miserables and he could quote movie dialogue verbatim. He enjoyed summer trips with his family to the beach at Mallard Lakes, Delaware and his favorite vacation was a family trip to Ireland.

He loved driving truck and worked for several firms, the most recent Calex.

Justin loved and will be terribly missed by his family, friends and his dog, Daisy.

Surviving are his parents, Meg and Clem Lukaszewski and his brother and best friend, Josh Lukaszewski.

A Memorial service will be held Monday at 7 p.m. from Davis-Dinelli Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad Street, Nanticoke with Pastor Timothy G. Hall, officiating.

Friends may call Monday from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Justin's name to the charity of your choice.

I worked with Justin at Calex, great guy and his beautiful dog Daisy. I met him in Grand Prairie, Texas at Walk in the Woods delivery site for playground equipment from Playworld in Lewisburg, Pa. I nicknamed him the hot dog bandit, a private joke amongst a few of his friends.....lol.....
God Bless and prayers for the family in these difficult times.....XO..... Charlene DeSimone and my cat Ace
