Adam Joseph Bernoski III, 59, formerly of Plymouth, passed on to be in the loving arms of his Lord and savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, May 12, 2018, after a courageous fight with lung disease.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on Oct. 3, 1958, Adam was the son of the late Adam and Ida Young Bernoski. He attended Wyoming Valley West High School.

Adam was a kind person who lived a simple, uncomplicated life. He enjoyed family, fishing, watching NASCAR, football and cowboy and action movies.

Adam spent the last few years living at the Shickshinny highrise close to his brother and sisters. He made many friends there and he will be missed by them.

Adam is survived by his children, Shayna, Ashley and Adam; grandchildren, Rilay, Jared and Alaina, Gabriel, Conner and Carlislie, and Emberlynn; and siblings, Linda Tomasacci and brother-in-law, Rick, Lisa Cleary and brother-in-law, Ray, and Willie Bernoski and fiancée, Fawn. Adam also left many nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a memorial service held at Mayo Funeral Home Inc., 77 N. Main St., Shickshinny, on May 22, with a visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. followed by the service at 8 p.m. with the Rev. John Ritchey, pastor, presiding.
