Anita Graziosi Mitchell, 77, of Pittston passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at St. Luke's Villa Hospice Center, Wilkes-Barre.

She was born in Old Forge on Aug. 18, 1935, and was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Mary Sabetta Graziosi.
Anita was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston.
She was a graduate of Old Forge High School.
She worked in the local garment industry for a few years, and then devoted her time as a loving mother and wife for 54 years. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Anita was preceded in death by her husband, John, who passed away Jan. 12, 2012; and her brother, James Graziosi.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah and her husband, John Vols, Avoca; her son, Jeffrey and his wife, Nancy Mitchell, Exeter; and her grandchildren, Tahnee and Tylor. Also surviving are her brothers, Orlando, Duryea; and Ronnie, Peabody, Mass.; her sisters, Carol Jenson, Exeter; and Marie Zielinski, Old Forge; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday from Kiesinger Funeral Services Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston, with Monsignor John J. Bendik officiating. Friends may call from 8 to 9 a.m. Wednesday. Interment will be held at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Dallas.
