Anna C. Slapar, 94, of Luzerne passed away Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at Kingston Commons, Kingston.

Born in Pringle on Jan. 8, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth Pietracini DiBuo.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the Acme store in Luzerne.
She was a member of Holy Family Parish, Luzerne.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rose DiBuo, and brothers, Joseph and William DiBuo.
Surviving are her husband, John F. Slapar; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family at Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home Inc., 568 Bennett St., Luzerne, with the Rev. Michael Zipay officiating. Interment will be in the mausoleum at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Wyoming.
