Anne P. Brazinski, 87, of Plains Township passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born July 26, 1925, in Plainsville, she was a daughter of the late John and Pauline Dvornicky Skochen. She attended Wyoming High School.
Anne was employed as a nanny by the Rubenstein and Goldberg families. She was also employed by Ann Will Garment, Port Dress and the White Arrow Drug Store.
She was a member of St. Maria Goretti Church, Laflin.
Anne was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, John J. Brazinski, and her son, John Kenneth. She was also preceded in death by an infant brother, John, and a brother, John C. Skochen, of Spotswood, N.J.
Anne is survived by her children, daughter, Jeanette Paulson and husband, Stanley, Belvidere, N.J.; daughter, Susan Zingaretti and husband, John, Bear Creek Township; and son, James (Jim) Brazinski and Joanne Hudock, Tunkhannock; grandchildren, Melissa Zingaretti Welsh and husband, Kevin; Jessica Zingaretti, D.O.; Ashley Zingaretti, J.D.; and Jennifer Paulson; and great-grandchildren, Morgan and Jack Welsh and Trey Jaiden. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Sholtis, Dallas; sister, Sophie Krzywicki, Plains Township; brother, Joseph Skochen, Shavertown; sister, Josephine Polinski, Plains Township; sister, Rosalie Sorbelli, Laflin; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at Michael J. Mikelski Funeral Home, 293 S. River St., Plains Township. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in St. Maria Goretti Church, 42 Redwood Drive, Laflin, by Monsignor Neil J. Van Loon. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton. Friends may call between 5 and 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The St. Maria Goretti Parish Bereavement Group will recite the rosary in the church at 9 a.m. prior to the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Maria Goretti Church, Laflin.
