Anthony J. Zigmont, 79, of Edwardsville, died Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at his home, surrounded by his family.

He was born in Pittston, son of the late Anthony Zigmont and Lillian Romanczuk Zigmont Castellino.

He served in the U.S. Army, and retired from Tobyhanna Army Depot in 2000, after 39 years of government service. He was a production controller. After retirement, he drove school buses for ten years.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Valerie Davis.

Tony is survived by his wife, the former Marianne Putera; son, Anthony and his wife, Kristen Zigmont, Franklin Twp.; daughter, Amy and her husband, Andre Bermudez, Breinigsville; grandson, Grayson Bermudez; sister, Carol and her husband, Robert Levandoski, Dupont; nephew, Steven Levandoski; aunts, uncles, cousins and many other nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday from Kopicki Funeral Home, 263 Zerbey Ave., Kingston, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Ignatius Church.

Interment will be in Ss. Cyril and Methodius Cemetery, Pringle.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
