Craig Kieff Lockwood, 56, of Pittston, died peacefully at home on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018.

Craig was born Aug. 15, 1961, in Scranton. He was the son of Marilyn Price Lockwood, RN, of Lenox, and the late Kieff R. Lockwood. He graduated from Mountain View High School in 1979 and continued his education at the University of Scranton, from where he graduated in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science.

He was a longtime member of the South Gibson United Methodist Church.

After graduating from the University of Scranton, Craig founded and operated Turn Key Technologies, an IT technical support company, which offered his services to many different companies over the years.

Craig lived life the way he wanted. He worked hard, yet he took time to enjoy the simple and perhaps most important things in life. He was a bachelor, but had a big family that included many longtime friends. He loved to reverse engineer and re-engineer anything he needed repaired or created. He liked to cook, specializing in homemade pizza, bread and cookies. He loved playing games of strategy. He was an avid reader and filmophile. He especially enjoyed science fiction. Many of us would just call Craig when we needed technical support or tutoring; he seemed to know something about everything. He liked to travel. Craig was a great story teller and entertainer. In his early years he sang, performed magic and even played the saxophone.

Surviving are his sister, Keyna Dawn Lockwood Radtke and brother-in-law, Earl Joseph Radtke Jr., and two nephews, Garrett Joseph Radtke and Kyle Morgan Radtke, all of Middletown, Md.; a brother, Eric Price Lockwood, New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; aunts and uncles, Valarie and James Cole, West Clifford; and Ordie and Aline Price, South Gibson; his two cats, Spaz and Peanut; and many longtime friends and cousins who will miss him greatly.

A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in South Gibson United Methodist Church, 2839 state Route 2067, South Gibson, with the Rev. Marge McCarty, pastor, officiating. Friends may call in the church from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. Spring interment will take place in Willow View Cemetery, Clifford.

Arrangements are entrusted to Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford.
