Daniel G. Davison, 49, of West Market Street, Kingston, died unexpectedly Monday, July 22, 2013, at his residence.

He was born in Kingston on Dec. 8, 1963, the son of the late William and Geraldine Wolfe Davison.

Dan was a life resident of Luzerne County, where he graduated from Wyoming Valley West High School, Class of 1982.

He was employed by Rex Shoe Co., Exeter, and most recently by Trion Industries, Wilkes-Barre, as a materials handler. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1982 to 1985.

Daniel's favorite sport was wrestling and he was very fond of Ricci's Pizza, Wilkes-Barre. His many friends will always remember Daniel's smile and pleasant greetings to them.

Preceding him in death were his brothers, William and Matthew Davison, and sister, Carol Leake.

Surviving are his son, Daniel G. Davison and his mother, Karen Debold, Wilkes-Barre; sister-in-law, Debbie Davison; and special niece, Amy Ellard. Other nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Memorial funeral services will be held at 7:45 p.m. Sunday from George A. Strish Inc. Funeral Home, 105 N. Main St., Ashley, with the Rev. Carol Coleman, pastor of Luzerne United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. A memorial visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. or until the time of service Sunday.
