Dolores M. Ebert, 79, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Friday evening, Jan. 11, 2013, at Hospice Community Care Inpatient Unit, Dunmore.

She was born in Swoyersville on March 14, 1933, a daughter of the late Joseph and Stephanie Yarashus Dambrauskas. She was a graduate of the Swoyersville High School and had been employed as a floor manager by the local garment industry for many years.
Dolores was an avid bowler and a member of the Alley Cats bowling league. She and her late husband of 53 years, Joseph S. Ebert, had a great love and appreciation for horses, having owned many over the years.
She was a member of the former Holy Trinity Church, South Street, Wilkes-Barre.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Albert and Bernard Dambrauskas; and by stepbrothers, Joseph, Bill and John Yarashus; along with a stepsister, Veronica Adams.
Surviving are her children, David Ebert and his wife, Sharon, Mountain Top; Gloria Hockenbury and her husband, Bill, Green Cove Springs, Fla.; Christopher Ebert and his wife, Sharon, Archabald; Bonnie Percevault and her husband, Joseph, Tafton; Joseph Ebert and his wife, Tara, Wilkes-Barre; grandchildren, Bryce Ebert; Ryan and Lauren Hockenbury; Christopher, Rachel Ebert and Michael DiMatteo; and Mallory and Morganne Percevault; sister, Anne Hines, Swoyersville; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with the Rev. James E. McGahagan officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
