Donald D. Lyons, 64, of Plymouth, passed away Thursday evening, Nov. 9, 2017, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center after battling a three-year illness.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Donald and Joan Lyons.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Diane Lyons.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of more than 21 years, Cathleen Lyons, brothers, Rick and Kevin, daughter, Jessica Benjamin, step-sons, James and Adam, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Donald was a retired journeyman from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 163. He was also a former member of the Sons of the American Legion and the Plymouth Eagles. Donald was a loving and friendly man whose favorite pastime was doing everything with his wife at his side, including camping, fishing, going to the casino and going to the shore. They also loved shooting guns where he was a former member at The Cabin Armory and Training Center in Plains Twp.

A memorial service will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday from Kielty-Moran Funeral Home, Inc., 87 Washington Ave., Plymouth.
