Donald Fox Neals, 73, of Nanticoke died peacefully following an illness on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at The Laurels, Kingston.

Born April 22, 1939, in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late John and Mildred Fox Neals.
Don was a graduate of St. Mary's High School.
An Army veteran of the Vietnam era, he was honorably discharged after serving from 1962 to 1964.
Before retiring, Don was the proprietor of the Fiesta Lounge and Tam-a-Rac Lounge in Wilkes-Barre. He truly enjoyed handicapping horse racing and football.
A sister, Mildred Neals, preceded him in death in 1976.
He will be greatly missed by his children, Patricia and her husband, John Rhodes, Plymouth; Donald Neals, Kingston; and Deborah Lichtenstein, Forty Fort; granddaughters, Mariah and Jessica Rhodes, and Alexis and Alivia Lichtenstein; a brother, John A. Neals, Scotch Plains, N.J.; his former wife and lifelong friend, Rita Dunsmuir Luse, Kingston; other family and friends.
A celebration of Donald's life will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday from M.J. McLaughlin Co. Inc., 142 S. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre, with a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in the Church of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. Visitation will be held at McLaughlin's from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday.
