Eileen Hoeffner, 85, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born July 31, 1927, in Plymouth and was the daughter of the late Miles Carver and the late Marie Mockler Carver.
Eileen graduated from Harter High School and lived in Plymouth Township and Hunlock Creek.
She was a member of Franklin Street Primitive Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Walter Hoeffner, and her son, Fredrick Hoeffner.
She is survived by her children, Debra Moore, Bloomsburg; George A. Hoeffner, Shickshinny; Debra Cline, Wilkes-Barre; and Martha Bagley, Maryland; sister, Judith Perry, Kansas City, Mo.; brother, Richard Carver, New Symrna Beach, Fla.; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday from Williams-Hagen Funeral Home, 114 W. Main St., Plymouth, with the Rev. Gregory D. Moore officiating. Interment will be in Oakdale Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
