Eleanor Bisconer Patrick, 60, died Saturday, June 19, 2010, at her home in Dallas.

Born in Tulare, Calif., on Sept. 27, 1949, Elie was the daughter of the late Reynold and Ursula Nauck Bisconer. She attended Scripps University, where she majored in literature. Elie was a medical secretary for parts of her life but was first and foremost a wife and mother.

Elie's entire life was spent in an effort to make the lives of everyone around her better. Her enthusiasm, joy and unwavering faith will be deeply missed by those who knew her. Through her selfless love for others, passion for sharing her faith in Jesus and an infectious positive attitude, she was the perfect example of what it means to be a Christian.

There is no question that she is now praising God in heaven and her memory will bring smiles to the faces of those who knew her for a long time to come.

Elie is survived by her husband, Glenn; and her children, Curtiss and Veronica.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in High Point Baptist Church, 1919 Mountain Road, Larksville. The Rev. Dick Hawley, pastor, will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home Inc., 140 N. Main St., Shavertown.

Online condolences may be sent to snowdon [email protected]
