Eva Mae Jenkins, 98, of Dallas and formerly of Edwardsville, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, in the Presbyterian Hospital, Charlotte, N.C.

Born Dec. 10, 1914, and raised in Edwardsville, she was the daughter of the late John Eli and Blanche Terrace Lampard Keating. She was educated in the Edwardsville public school system. She was a graduate of Edwardsville High School, Class of 1933.
Eva was employed by the local garment industry of the Wyoming Valley.
She was a member of Larksville United Methodist Church, and a trustee of the church for many years. She was a former member of the Sunday school class, as well as the Nesbitt Auxiliary and the Social Club of the Meadows.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Patton and Bessie Tucker.
Surviving are her daughter, Lorelle Krueger, Charlotte, N.C., with whom she resided; her grandson, John B. Naylis and his wife, Stephanie; great-granddaughters, Katie, Skyler, and Karoline; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday from Edwards and Russin Funeral Home, 717 Main St., Edwardsville, with the Rev. Ron Baker, pastor of Larksville United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Monday.
