Florene C. Wiancek Boyer, 81, formerly of Dupont, more recently a resident of Bel Air, Md., passed into eternal life Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, in Mercy Hospital, Baltimore.

Born March 5, 1932, in Dupont, she was a daughter to the late Joseph and Sophie Grudzinski Wiancek. She was educated in Dupont schools, having graduated from the former Dupont High School.
She is remembered as being a devoted, loving wife, mother and grandmother to her beloved family.
Mrs. Boyer was preceded in death by an infant brother, Frederick Wiancek, and more recently by her husband, Mr. John W. Boyer, in 1997.
Surviving are her children, Debbie Webster and her husband, Steve, Reeders; John Boyer, Greentown; Gary Boyer and his wife, Julie, Amesbury, Mass.; Sandy Nalewajko, her husband, Steve, and Carol Policare, all of Bel Air, Md.; grandchildren, Stephen Nalewajko, Nicole Policare, Steven Webster, Celina Boyer and Jacob Boyer; a sister, Barbara Jackson, Hunt Valley, Md.; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Boyer will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, with a memorial Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 215 Lackawanna Ave., Dupont. The Rev. Joseph D. Verespy, pastor, will serve as celebrant. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery, Dupont. Relatives and friends are invited to go directly to the church, where Florene's family will receive them from 9:30 a.m. until the time of her funeral Mass.
