Frances E. Weihbrecht, 76, of Swoyersville passed away Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, in Geisinger Heart Hospital.

She was born in Edwardsville on July 8, 1936, the daughter of the late Frank and Frances Chmielewski Rozanski.
Frances was a graduate of Edwardsville High School and Empire Beauty School. Fran also worked at Bell Telephone Co. and at George-Ann Fashions, Swoyersville.
She went on to earn her ceramics teaching license. Fran then become the owner of The Doll House Ceramic Studio, a well-known ceramic/gift shop and Christmas store in Swoyersville, for more than 25 years. She also taught ceramic lessons at the store several times a week and also taught at the Wilkes-Barre Housing Authority.
Fran had many loves in life, including participating in church, gardening, dining out, vacations and also the occasional Indian Pow-Wow. Her cat, Star, was her loving companion. She also loved her grandpuppies, Gus and Yukon. Most of all Fran loved spending time with her family. Her beautiful smile and twinkle in her eye will live on forever in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel. We were not ready to let you go so unexpectedly ... but God was ready to see your smile. You will forever be in our hearts.
Fran is survived by her husband, Gerard Weihbrecht, and four children: son, Matthew Lysiak and his wife, Doreen, Dallas; daughter, Maureen Pacovsky and her husband, John, Kingston; son, Eric M. Lysiak and his wife, Frances, Doylestown; son, David Lysiak and his wife, Debbie, Mountain Top; six grandchildren, Tiffany Kuzma and her husband, Adam; John (JC) and his fiancee, Amanda; Ryan; Lance; Luke; and Lee; great-grandson, Aaron; two nieces and a nephew, Frances, Karen and Leon. Also, she is survived by her stepson, Jerry Weihbrecht; stepdaughter, Karen Shedlock and her husband, Gary; granddaughter, Morgan; and grandson, Dylan.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday from Kopicki Funeral Home, 263 Zerby Ave., Kingston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Hughes Street, Swoyersville. Family and friends may pay their respects from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
