Frank "Tiger" Tagnani, 92, passed away peacefully and began his journey to heaven on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018.

Born Oct. 2, 1925, in Mocanaqua, to the late John and Rose Capece Tagnani, Frank graduated from Shickshinny High School. Frank was a member and usher at St. Francis until it's closing and St. Faustina Parish.

Frank proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and retired from Nelson Furniture, Kingston. Frank and his wife, Vilma, had wonderful memories from owning the Tigers Den. They had great softball, dart, bowling and shuffleboard leagues. Frank loved all Pennsylvania sports teams and he enjoyed playing and watching golf and also the many trips to Williamsport to watch the Little League World Series. Frank was a member of the American Legion Post 350, Nanticoke, and was a member and past president of the Italian Club

Frank was preceded in death by his loving wife, Vilma; brothers, Louis and Richard; sisters, Rita, Dolores and Julia.

Frank is survived by his son, John Tagnani; daughters, Susan Klimchok (Don), Mountain Top; and Diane Lukas (John), Plymouth; grandsons, John, Nanticoke; Adam Klimchok, Samuel Lukas; brothers, August, California; Bruno, Luzerne; granddaughters, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. Wolanin and the Little Flower Manor.

A Mass of Christian Burial will held at 11:30 a.m. Friday in St. Faustina Parish, main site, Hanover Street, Nanticoke. Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at Stanley S. Stegura Funeral Home Inc., 614 S. Hanover St., Nanticoke. At the convenience of the family, Frank will be laid to rest in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
