Fred Neddoff of Parrish Street, Wilkes-Barre, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley, Plains Township.

Born Oct. 27, 1931, in Wilkes-Barre, son of the late Albert and Jennie Neddoff, he was a graduate of Meyers High School, Class of 1950.

He was an Army medic, serving in the Korean conflict.

Fred was co-owner of Neddoff's Restaurant, Wilkes-Barre, for more than 50 years.

He was a member of St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, Wilkes-Barre, and a former member of the Wilkes-Barre Civil Defense and Rescue Squad.

Fred is survived by sisters, Mary Neddoff and Elizabeth Kuhl, both of Wilkes-Barre; brothers, John and his wife, Dallas Neddoff, Hanover Township; and Joe Neddoff, Wilkes-Barre; nieces, Lisa Smith and Rania Neddoff; nephews, Andrew, Bob and David Kuhl and John Neddoff; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and loving girlfriend, Ann Marie Kovalik, Wilkes-Barre.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday from Mamary-Durkin Funeral Service, 59 Parrish St., Wilkes-Barre, with services at 11:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Antiochian Orthodox Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
