George R. Gulvas of Plymouth Township died Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, at his home.

He was born in Wilkes-Barre on Nov. 15, 1942, son of the late George and Marion Siskavitch Gulvas, and was raised in Kingston.

He received a bachelor's degree in architecture from Millersville University.

He was owner and operator of George and Panama Auto Service, Kingston.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Benetsky.

George is survived by his wife, the former Dawn Johnstone; daughters, Megan Reenock, Bethlehem; and Kelly Snyder, Allentown; grandchildren, Timothy Kirk Snyder II, Kaia Reenock, Chad Snyder and Kyle Snyder; and sisters, Gloria Bowman, Lehighton; Mary Gulvas, New Jersey; and Barbara Nalesnik, North Carolina.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Prince of Peace Church, Dallas. Friends may call following the service until 2 p.m. Saturday at the family home.

George was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
