Georgianna M. Zamboni, 71, of Mountain Top passed away Saturday morning, June 23, 2012, at Hospice Community Care in Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Mount Carmel, on Nov. 24, 1940.
She was the daughter of the late Stella and Henry Heiser.
She was a graduate of the former Mount Carmel Catholic High School, Class of 1958. She was a member of St Jude's Roman Catholic Church, Mountain Top.
Georgianna had most recently worked at Sam's Club in the meat department. She loved animals, and always had a pet dog.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Henry Heiser Jr. in 1981.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Francis (Frank); sons, Francis James, Philmont, N.Y.; Christopher and wife, Tammy, Slocum Township; Daniel and wife, Eileen, Garner, N.C.; daughter, Lisa, and husband, Ken Deibert, Swoyersville; sister, Roberta Ward, Cockeysville Md; grandchildren, Cassandra and Kenny Deibert, Julia Madeline and Laura Zamboni; and her canine friend, Yeggie.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday from Desiderio Funeral Home Inc., 436 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church, Mountain Top. Interment will be held in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
