Helen L. Belles, 90, of Plains Township passed away Sunday afternoon, Nov. 18, 2012, at the home.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late William and Merle Rogers Kelly.
Helen was a homemaker all of her life and was a member of St. Benedict Parish, St. Dominic's Church, Parsons section of Wilkes-Barre.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Belles, on Feb. 17, 1996; her grandson, Jason McNeil; sisters, Margaret Biniek and Marion Marko; and brothers, William, Robert, and Joseph Kelly.
Surviving are her children, Dorothy Mazur, Wyoming; Richard Belles and his wife, Betty Ann, Suscon; Leon Belles, Paulette Weeks and her husband, Ray, Lorraine Giovannini and her husband, Ted, and Shirley McNeil and her husband, Rodney, all of Plains Township; 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Masgay, Plains Township; brothers, Charles Kelly and his wife, Ruby, Wilkes-Barre; Donald Kelly, Little Rock, Ark.; and Francis Kelly and his wife, Jo Ann, Plains Township; many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday from Corcoran Funeral Home Inc., 20 S. Main St., Plains Township, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Benedict Parish, St. Dominic's Church, Wilkes-Barre, with the Rev. Joseph A. Kearney, pastor, officiating. Interment will be held in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
